Are You Ready?

Jeremiah 29:13-14 says…And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

This is one of the most powerful verses in the prophets that talks about a true love relationship between God and His people. Although, because of their sinfulness, hard hearts and stubborn ways Israel was led into unusual bondages of the enemy, the Lord says that if they are faithful to seek Him, He Himself will be found of them. How awesome is our God!

I am reminded of Paul in his second letter to the Corinthian Church in 2 Cor 3:16 he says, …Nevertheless when it (the heart) shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. What Paul fluently says, and that too with such a reality of revelation…is that when Christ is revealed to us, that is what removes or unblocks the Glory of God to settle on His people again. That is why we need Christ.

When we seek Him with all our hearts, God Himself get so overjoyed that He reveals Himself, the depths of His own heart, and then proceeds to release every bondage in and around us. He then sets us up with a fresh vision for restoration in every aspect of our lives.

In this period of our nation, especially in the month of August, when we celebrate our Independence, may the Lord cause us to ‘return’ to Him in longing prayer. And then He Himself will come.

So, position yourself for a fresh revival. Take your stand and be equipped for the biggest move of the Holy Spirit in our midst. And continue to pray and seek the God who runs the affairs of this land with His wisdom. Get ready.
